How would you like to take a kayak and explore by yourself the fantastic Delta with its maze of channels? Would you like to be the passenger of a safari trip in a motorized boat and to have the opportunity to enjoy the scenery in all its magnificence? Or you would like to just be lazy in a place with fresh air and gather your friends and have an outdoor party?
Take the time to come here and let yourself be guided through the Delta’s channels, towards famous objectives like “Letea” forest. You will be mesmerized by the fantastic site of the trees that seem to grow out of the water like in fairy tales. The forest is also unique due to its wild horses. ”Perisor” and “Gura Portitei”are places where the Delta meets the Black Sea. On one side you will be able to see the luxuriant Delta vegetation, on the other, the secluded virgin beach of the Black Sea.”Sulina” and” Sfantul Gheorghe” are similar places where the delta meets the sea. Or take your kayak and start your
own adventure to discover the wildness of the Delta, its exotic birds and lakes like “Barcaz” and “Soschi” with their unique sunsets. Here you will have the chance to encounter swans,egrets and pelicans and cross the unique,narrow channels surrounded by willows and water-lilies. The Danube Delta[3446 km] is situated in Romania and Ukraine and is the second biggest delta in the world and the best preserved of the European deltas. Danube Delta became part of the Unesco World Heritage in 1991,being classified as a biosphere’s reservation at the national level.

Peisaje absolute superbe, pe care nu le poți observa dintr-o barcă. Aici ești propriul stapan pe timpul tău. Nu te grabeste nimeni dacă vrei să zabovesti mai mult in fața unui peisaj... And if you got here, let yourself be driven on the Danube channels, for famous sights or on neverseen routes. Or take your kayak and embark on the adventure to discover the Delta’s wilderness, birds of all kinds, lakes with unique sunsets.
Stand up paddle
And if you want to try something different, get on a stand up paddle board and float quietly along the Delta’s canals. You will feel the pulse of living nature, surrounded by water and vegetation, while the birds will whisper their secrets to you.
Bird watching:
During the year,over 340 different species of migrating birds find their home in the biosphere of the Danube’s Delta.Here you can be closest to them and admire them in their natural habitat. It will be a delight for your eyes and an excellent opportunity to bond with nature.

Check in starts at 16:00 h and check out finishes at 11:00h.
For children:
– smaller than 5 years old, there is a fee of 250/lei; between 5 and 12 years old, the fee is 350/lei and for children over 12 years old,the fee is the same with that of an adult.
You can make a reservation to Kayak Escape through our contract form downloadable on our site or by emailing us at contact@kayak-escape.ro. A fee of 20% of total cost is applicable at the moment of reservation. We retain the reservation for 3 days. If the fee is not payed within the first 3 days ,the registration is lost.
You can cancel your reservation 14 days before the vacation date. We will reimburse you the advance payment (minus the bank commissions). Noncompliance with the terms of the contract will result in forfeiture of the advance payment.
Responsibility to nature, environment,biosphere:
Kayak Escape guest house is situated in “Dunavatu de Jos”,an old fishing village in the Danube’s Delta, area included in the “Unesco” World Heritage.In this biosphere live different species of plants, fish and birds, so preserving their natural habitat is of outmost importance. Kayak Escape recommends:
-respect the nature and the environment,the hours of siesta and the locals from the village.
– keep the village and the guest house with its surroundings clean. Do not litter during the trips on the channels, use garbage bags for disposing of waste.
Guest house’s rules:
We all want to have an awesome time together, therefore it is important to establish rules to mutual respect.
-Smoking is forbidden in our house.
-We love animals but, unfortunately, they are not welcomed inside of the house due to allergies.
Permits for access in the reservation and permits for fishing:
The fee for accessing the Delta is 5 lei/day,15 lei/week and 30 Lei/year. The optional fishing permit is free of charge,they can be accessed and printed here aici.
